Dispute Resolution
Navigating commercial disputes and allegations of a breach of contract requires a razor-sharp strategy. When debtors attempt to stall payment by raising disputes, you need a debt collection partner that doesn't blink and give up at the first hurdle. Our commercial recovery framework is designed to dismantle weak defences and force swift, decisive resolutions.
Unmatched In-House Legal Firepower
Having a dedicated, high-calibre legal team in your corner completely shifts the power dynamic. We do not farm out complex files to third-party solicitors. Our experts handle the fight directly.
- Elite Representation: Our in-house legal professionals go head-to-head with some of the country's best legal teams on a daily basis, winning complex corporate disputes.
- Aggressive Positioning: We combine deep commercial litigation expertise with rapid enforcement protocols to cut through corporate stalling tactics.
- Zero Hesitation: From initial pre-action protocols to High Court filings, our team is structured to match and exceed opposing corporate representation.
Demanding Hard Evidence
Debtors frequently hide behind vague claims of defective work or contractual non-performance. We turn the tables immediately by putting the strict burden of proof back where it belongs.
- Rigorous Verification: We formally demand comprehensive written, photographic, and video proof of all alleged debts or performance issues.
- Exposing Empty Claims: Because debtors often rely on smoke and mirrors rather than documentation, our strict evidentiary demands mean most disputes simply cannot be proven.
- Rapid Resolution: Once a debtor's flimsy defence collapses under microscopic legal scrutiny, the path is cleared for immediate debt recovery.
Dispute Resolution FAQs
What should I do if a debtor disputes my invoice?
Ask for evidence. We formally request written, photographic and video proof of any alleged defect or non-performance. Many disputes raised to delay payment cannot be supported with documentation, and once a defence fails, the debt can move to recovery.
Can a disputed debt still be recovered?
Often, yes. Raising a dispute does not cancel a debt. Where a debtor cannot evidence their complaint, the claim can proceed through pre-action correspondence, court proceedings and, if necessary, enforcement.
Does Money Claim Collections pass disputed files to external solicitors?
No. Our in-house legal team handles disputed files directly, from pre-action protocols through to High Court filings, rather than passing them to third-party solicitors.
